Are American actors really that hard up for jobs? o.O

Well, I was rather impressed by the movie adaptation of Order of the Pheonix. Disappointed, however, in the way that somethings were... changed, the order was a bit.. different, etc. In general though, I thought it was a good adaptation from the books, and well worth seeing twice. (The first time with Bunta, the second wtih Kaidoh.)

I, unfortunately, was unable to join the many others that are heading to Tennis camp. I won't, however, stop training here - no sense on wasting time. Who is up for meeting at the courts tomorrow afternoon? I find myself in a particularly good mood, and well, would hate to just sit around right now.

Hm. My mother just came home with a couple of tickets to Harry Potter tomorrow at midnight. Apparently she's wanting to get me out of the house for the evening, with her strong suggestion that it would be a "perfect" idea to find a date, do the dinner and a movie thing, and well... be gone most the night.

... I don't think I want to know what she's planning.

So. That being said. Who, that doesn't have plans to see it just yet, and preferably doesn't have a jealous boyfriend would like to accompany me to Harry Potter tomorrow night?

Marui? Kirihara? Niou? Yagyuu? I could go on listing but I guess that's kind of pointless.

Hm. No one creepy, please. And even though my mother things I need to "date more" this doesn't really have to be a date. This is a bit awkward

Indroducing: Brawlspace

I have been contemplating the suggestions over on [info]wtfitsmary's journal, specifically Provide something to the fandom that no one else can.

Perhaps this isn't something that no one else can do, but it IS something that (as far as I know) hasn't been done so far.

A lot of people, it seems to me, have been talking about dating - looking for dates, having troubles finding them, or just trying to get random sexual hook ups. That's okay too - if that's your thing.

However, I've decided that since it seems to be on the minds of so many that I would actually make a contribution to this whole fandom environment and do something about it. And thus, I bring you: [info]brawlspace

[info]brawlspace is my version of Myspace for Brawlers. Yes, its purpose is to find you dates, or find you one night stands, or find you a manservent, whatever it is you might be looking for.

Join, date, have sex, be merry, and give me thumbs.

This is far more entertaining than that silly ladybug mating game.

Sp3 Icons & AIM

Spider-man 3 was... interesting. Some parts were rather good, but others? I honestly think I could have written a better script, but ah well. It was a fun night, regardless. I still stand by my notion that there wasn't any "leanage" or shrieking, regardless of what Tonks ([info]kinda_trippy) might lead you to believe.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I finally joined the masses and got myself an AIM screen name: brazilianxbaldy Use it.

(OOC: brazilianxbaldy is an IC screen name for Jackal. I still have hotlikewoahiknow for a general OOC screen name!)

Playing tennis

(no subject)

Well I'm a bit late, it seems, for this meme - better late than never. I'll be at the courts all day, if anyone would like to stop by and play a few matches.

Glomping

First, I blame Kaidoh. It is his fault entirely that I ever had any exposure to the Naruto-verse. Second, this video "defining" glomping is hilarious. Watch it if you haven't.

Looking sly or pimped out?

TMNT

My mother asked me, after Kaidoh went home, how it was that two boys can both be such early risers. Apparently she was under the misconception that boys are age are supposed to be lazy and sleep in when there isn't a tennis practice or match in the morning. Which, if its true that the majority of our peers enjoy sleeping in, my only question is how do they justify wasting so much of their day in bed? There are things to be done, and time waits for no one to wake up.

Now that I've gotten my rant out of my system, I bring you a fandom post courtesy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Oh, and for those who do not know this yet, that Tonks lady? She's a crazy one.

Icons, right.

Wearing a skirt is a very... odd sensation.  There's a bit too much open and free feeling down there. I haven't quite decided yet if that part is a good odd or a bad odd. Just... odd.

An Introduction of Sorts.

As it seems the vast majority of tennis players have found themselves on livejournal participating in this thing called fandom, I have decided it was about time to join the trend. As I realize there's a chance you may not know who I am, I will give you the basics of what you need to know.

1. My name is Jackal Kuwahara
2. I'm originally from Brazil
3. I attend Rikkai Daigaku Fuzoko - and play tennis there.
4. Everything I do, I do seriously. If you aren't going to put your full effort and mind into something, than you might as well not do it at all.
5. No. You cannot rub my head for good luck. That is only reserved to a select few.
5a. No. You cannot rub my head for other reasons either.
5b. I mean it, the answer is no, so don't ask.
5c. No.
